Madera Unified School District State Preschool Program provides preschool services to 520 students in 15 different classrooms at 13 different sites. The State Preschool Program is an early childhood education program for three and four-year-old children whose families meet the income eligibility requirements set by the Department of Education-Child Development Division.  Our Preschool Program is a structured, half-day (3 hours), and 1 full day program, designed to promote children’s school competence, especially school readiness and academic achievement. Once your interest form has been completed, please review the Preschool Program Qualifications tab.

Preschool Interest Forms are available beginning March 1, 2024. Each form is processed after the month ends. It may take up to several weeks from the date of your interest form to receive a call for an eligibility appointment.
